John Murray Mason is a long time resident of Madison, Wisconsin. Since approximately 1993 he has made a serious commitment to photography as an art form. He photographs urban and rural midwestern landscapes. His depictions of architecture and landscapes are quiet uninhabited places beautifully composed, in both color and black and white.

Mr. Mason's work can be seen at the U-Frame-It Gallery at 857 East Johnson Street, Madison, Wisconsin and the Artisan Gallery, 6858 Paoli Road, Paoli, Wisconsin. His work is also represented in The Guild's Designer Sourcebook of Art and is shown regularly at other venues in the Madison area.
